Over
many years of
owning property in condominiums and home owner associations as
either investor or resident, I served on several South
Florida Condominium Boards, some self-managed and some that
employed licensed Community Association Managers.
At the same time I
successfully managed my own and other investors' rental
property.
While serving as President of a
small self managed condominium in Fort Lauderdale, I worked with a Board eager
collaborate
to improve and enhance that property and make it a better
place to live. We worked hard, got the job done and in
the end even the naysayers were happy.

About a year after selling my
units at Sutton Place Condo, my
colleagues came back to me to ask if I would run it for them
for a fee because none of them had time or interest to learn
the regulations, handle all the issues and make it
run as smoothly again.
At other condos I served as
Secretary/ Treasurer and Board Member and actively participated in
operations in order to protect my investment, maintain and
enhance the properties. And I wanted to
make sure costs were controlled and budgets adhered to.
The regulations for record
keeping, meetings, notices, elections and all the rest were
part of a quick education.
My background in
property management from work early in my
career with hotels and other positions helped also.
Dealing with contractors and
building trades people was familiar from experience with my
own properties.
I've developed good relationships with
honest dependable contractors, handymen, plumbers,
electricians and more.
Speaking to groups,
conducting organized meetings, organizing tasks, goal setting and
seeing things through to completion comes naturally to me,
and I have used those skills in past Sales and Marketing,
Management, Fundraising and other positions.
I got a Florida Community
Association Manager License (CAM30441) and started to offer my
property management services to other small condo associations where too few
people have done the work for too long back in 2007.
The business soon outgrew operating out of my home and
there's been no looking back.
I've grown the business and
hired some great people. We love what we do.
Are you one of the stalwart
volunteers who are tired and ready to hand operations over to
others, if only someone else would show an interest?
Do your
neighbors see how hard you work and want no part of it?
Under my management your
property will be cared for as if it were my own. And I
will spend your money as carefully as if it were my own too.
You will receive a steady and
open flow of communication, and be treated with respect
and consideration.
Contact me today to talk
about the unique character of your association and
how I can help you.
